Grillz is dental jewelry, designed exactly according to your teeth. Grillz can look in many different ways – you can combine designs and leave your dental jewelry on one or more teeth. The dental jewelry is not permanent, but can be taken off and on as desired. Grillz is a trend that started in the 1980s in the hip-hop scene in New York, USA. Many rap and hip-hop artists have made this trend legendary by both wearing and mentioning grillz in their music.

In Denmark, we are currently seeing a growing culture of diversity, power to stand out and be one's own. With Jane Kønig's custom grillz, you can help design your own dental jewelry. Your specially designed grillz will give you edge and personality, in exactly your spirit. Jane Kønig's flagship store in Copenhagen is now one of the few places in Denmark where you can get grillz made.

To have custom grillz made, you must book an appointment via our booking system. We are ready to receive you and guide you in your process until you are absolutely sure how you want your grillz to look. Next, we will take an impression of your teeth. This takes about 10 minutes (you sit with wax in your mouth for 4 minutes). The print is checked and a design is agreed and you will be able to collect your grillz within 4 weeks.

You should never sleep or eat with your grillz in your mouth. It is possible to drink and smoke with your grillz, but we point out that smoking can change the color of the metal. You are always welcome to come in and have your grillz polished again. Your grillz will not damage your teeth as long as you wear them responsibly and follow the above advice.
